Guernsey is better on a bike

The Guernsey Bicycle Group exists to encourage more people to cycle as part of everyday life. Our priorities are to:

  • Support & encourage cycling in Guernsey

  • Organise social cycling events

  • Campaign for safer roads for cyclists

  • Partner with the States of Guernsey and other groups to encourage and enhance active travel as a healthy, affordable and sustainable choice.

The GBG is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to making cycling on Guernsey easier, safer and more accessible everyone, irrespective of your age, ability, income, bike type, or choice of clothing!

We promote safe, legal and courteous cycling as a community, leisure and health activity. We believe that a safe and practical balance between the different ways of travelling around Guernsey is vital to our island being a fantastic place to live, learn, work and visit.
