Haiyan Sportive - 8th Dec 2013. Guernsey's Biggest Ever Sportive?

The Guernsey Velo Club in association with Aid Reaching Children are organising what they hope will be Guernsey's biggest ever sportive with all proceeds going to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan rebuild their lives. Rather than providing emergency aid, it is intended that monies raised will help the people of the Philippines rebuild services and infrastructure to assist their transition back to a normal way of life. There will be 4 different routes to choose from, ranging from a flat 12 miles, up to a very challenging hilly 54 miles. We hope that there is an option that will suit every age and ability of rider who wants to take part in this event. All rides will meet, start and finish at Vazon Bay car park next to Vista’s. Entry fee per person will be £10 (£3 for all U16 riders) but sponsorship forms are available and we hope that everything is done to raise as much as possible.
