NightRide 2015: 9905 miles of smiles, and £5k for charity

We would like to say a HUGE thank you all 452 riders who cycled the total of 9,905 miles - that’s the equivalent of cycling from Guernsey to Alice Springs – and for making this year’s NightRide our biggest and best yet!

Thank you to everyone who kindly donated, helping us raise £5000 for the Cardiac Action Group and MS Society Guernsey (and still counting)!

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported this event and helped the evening run so smoothly; the amazing volunteers, Guernsey Bicycle Group, the Civil Protection Volunteers, Guernsey Police, St Johns Ambulance, White Rock Brewery and of course Vistas Café who once again made us so welcome! The biggest "thankyou" goes to Healthspan for sponsoring and organizing the event for the 3rd year.

Also a big thank you to Josh Gabriel for making the atmosphere AMAZING and to our face painters ‘Smudge It’ for all their hard work and kind donation!

Well done to the prize winners:

  • Best Fancy Dressed Cyclist: Where’s Wally? – Shannon Le Leiver

  • Best Decorated Bike: - StarWars – The Steer Family

  • Most Unusual Bike: Unicycles – Bob Nicole, Ross Wylie and Martin Howes

  • Best Creative Under 16 Cyclist: The Pirate – Connor Ballayd

Check out the NightRide Facebook page for photos from the night. Please tag and share!

If you are yet to hand in your sponsorship money please post it to the address below address at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for all your support and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
